Confirmation

CONFIRMATION

When a child is baptized, parents make promises to raise their children as faithful disciples. Confirmation Ministry is a pastoral and educational ministry which empowers this child to identify more deeply with the Christian Community and take ownership of these promises for themselves. At Living Word, Confirmation generally takes place during a child’s 6th, 7th, & 8th grade years. We operate on a three-year academic rotation which includes a Bible Year, Lutheran Year, and an Applying Your Faith Year. Individual Confirmation programs can be arranged with Pastor Ariel for those who do not fall into the typical age group.
