What to Expect

Welcome!

At Living Word, you’ll find a diverse community of people from many walks of life, faith backgrounds, and life experiences. We extend Christ’s welcome to all—no matter who you are or where you’ve been. Come as you are and know you are accepted.

Our worship services reflect the rich liturgical heritage of the Lutheran church, centered on God’s Word and the sacrament of Holy Communion. The 8:00am service follows a traditional liturgy, while the 10:30am service offers a more contemporary feel while still rooted in Lutheran worship. Both services last about an hour, and Holy Communion is celebrated each week. Everyone is welcome to receive Communion, regardless of church background or affiliation. If you prefer, you may come forward to receive a blessing instead.

There is no dress code—some come in jeans, others in their Sunday best. What matters most is that you’re here. We are committed to being a place of grace, inclusion, and welcome for all people, just as Jesus taught.

You’re invited to worship with us any Sunday. You won’t be singled out or put on the spot—just warmly welcomed.
